A 30,000-mile car and a 130,000-mile car of the same model can have different repair and resale prospects. Lower mileage can make the first car more desirable, even with a fault. It is one buying factor alongside history, condition and the diagnosis, rather than a guarantee of a particular price.
Keep the details accurate
Tell us if the engine or gearbox has been removed, parts are missing, the vehicle has accident damage, or it cannot roll and steer. Photos of the dashboard, mileage, bodywork and parking position help avoid surprises at collection.
